Using OrcaScribe
These terms govern your use of OrcaScribe, a macOS dictation, meeting capture, transcription, and note-taking application operated by DigitalCarbon Inc. By using OrcaScribe, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for how you use OrcaScribe and for complying with applicable laws. Before recording or transcribing other people, you must obtain any notice or consent required in your location and theirs. You may not use OrcaScribe to violate another person's rights or to conduct unlawful activity.
Your content and local data
You retain ownership of the content you create. OrcaScribe stores its working data locally on your Mac. You are responsible for protecting your device and maintaining any backups you need. Removing the app or losing access to your Mac may result in loss of local data.
Optional integrations
Optional integrations are subject to their providers' terms and policies. You may disconnect them at any time. The Privacy Policy explains what connected-service data OrcaScribe accesses and how it is used, stored, and deleted.
Software changes and availability
We may update, add, or remove features as the product develops. We may also suspend or end availability of OrcaScribe. We do not promise that every feature will always be available or error-free.

OrcaScribe is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. Transcriptions and generated summaries may contain errors and should be reviewed before you rely on or share them. OrcaScribe is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, or other advice.
